Tickets on sale for Taco Bell All-Star Sunday

Tickets for Taco Bell All-Star Sunday, the first of three days of Major League Baseball All-Star Week events at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pa., will go on sale today, Friday, May 19th. Taco Bell All-Star Sunday features the XM Satellite Radio All-Star Futures Game and the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game and launches the on-field festivities at PNC Park. Tickets will be available via the official websites of the Pirates (www.pirates.com), Major League Baseball (www.mlb.com) and Minor League Baseball (www.minorleaguebaseball.com). Taco Bell All-Star Sunday tickets also are available for purchase at the PThe XM Satellite Radio All-Star Futures Game will feature top U.S. and international Minor League prospects competing in a seven-inning game. Recent participants include 2002 American League Cy Young Award winner Barry Zito, 2003 World Series MVP Josh Beckett, 2004 All-Star Game MVP Alfonso Soriano and Pirates infielder Jose Castillo. The annual Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game is a fun-filled event that will feature Major League Baseball legends and celebrities competing in a five-inning softball game. Past participants include Hall of Famers Dave Winfield, Ernie Banks, Paul Molitor, Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg and Ozzie Smith, and celebrities such as actors James Denton ("Desperate Housewives"), and Kevin James ("King of Queens"); television personalities Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, and Leeann Tweeden; award-winning singer Nick Lachey; and champion athletes Picabo Street and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. In addition to tickets for Taco Bell All-Star Sunday, MLB All-Star FanFest tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in individual or group packages. Tickets for MLB All-Star FanFest are sold on a timed-entry basis, giving fans the ability to reserve the day and time of their choice and may be purchased via the outlets listed above. Major League Baseball and the Pirates are offering several discount options, including $5 off each MLB All-Star FanFest ticket purchased as part of a FanFest Family Pack, which are sold in denominations of four, five, six and seven tickets.
